Understanding your analytics
What each number means.
- Clicks — every time a person opened the link. Robots and link-preview fetchers are left out.
- Unique visitors — clicks counted once per person per day, using an anonymous code that changes daily.
- QR scans — clicks that came from your Orbis Link QR code.
- Referrers — the website or app the click came from. “Direct / unknown” covers emails, text messages, typed links and apps that hide where the visitor came from.
- Location — approximate, based on the visitor’s network. Country is usually accurate; city is a good guide.
- Popular times — shown in UK time.
Total clicks vs tracked clicks
The number next to each link counts every redirect. Detailed statistics count tracked clicks. On the Free plan, detail is recorded for the first 1,000 clicks each month, and on Bulk up to your plan’s volume; after that, links still work and totals still rise.
History and exports
Free shows the last 30 days; Pro and Bulk keep two years. On paid plans, export all links, or all clicks for one link, to CSV.
